Hintere Insel Schuett 34 90403 Nuremberg, Nuremberg
The Restauration Kopernikus is an restaurant and an beer garden, which is located on the old castle walls in downtown of Nuremberg. You can eat excellent Polish and Franconian dishes as homemade pork shoulder, Franconian roast pork, beef roulade and Schnitzel. The Restauration Kopernikus serves selected country beers from the Franconian Switzerland.
The atmosphere is pleasant. The choice of dishes is varied. Everything tastes good. Recommendable!
Very tasty food, very large portions, nice atmosphere in summer outside in the beer garden, very friendly staff, good selection of dishes, ... We look forward to next summer and hope to be able to eat here again.
Super tasty and traditional Polish and German cuisine. Beautiful rustic interior in an old city tower on 2 levels. There is also a wonderful, huge beer garden with a view over the historic city walls of Nuremberg. A culinary feast. Any time!
Very good food, nice ambience. Prices are fair to downtown ratios. At the moment you should definitely make a reservation with several people.
Incredibly delicious. Nice ambience. Portions very large, but then quite cheap. Nice beer garden.
Unfortunately we had to wait a long time because we hadn't pre-ordered. The service was then very friendly, the dishes were served every ten minutes and the first one was ready again. I had the schnitzel with fries and mushroom sauce. Because I wanted the mushroom sauce extra and not poured it over french fries and schnitzel, I was allowed to pay two euros extra, which I didn't find so nice. The food was good!
It was okay, the taste of the food was not so good. Schnitzel is a bit seared on the edges. Location is nice. I'll definitely come back for a beer.
Super
The service from the wait staff was sluggish. They walk a lot and in spite of all that they don't manage to recognize whether a guest needs something (drinks, salt and pepper, etc.), bread dumplings were small and cut almost like rubber. Not much was missing and they would have jumped off the plate πππ. It used to be better.
Friendly service, tasty local and Polish dishes and good beer. Plus cozy and ... how a Bavarian Franconian beer garden simply has to be. Reservation at the weekend is an advantage. There since 2008 and always very satisfied despite the high quality standards. Bottom up!
Great and cozy beer garden. Service friendly and on the ball, cyclists well chilled. Schnitzel ordered with fries, huge portion and delicious. Priced within the framework. Everything is great, we'd love to come back, then the pirogi will be tried.
The food was not the only thing that amazes in this restaurant! I truly enjoy trying new places and I am tirelessly looking for new places to eat, but I will remain devoted to this inn. I am happy to come here with my relatives and I can count on being looked after flawlessly. The restaurant is always nice and we had a wonderful afternoon here. The seating is extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the tables is particularly decent. There you don't even get the feeling of dining like fish in a can in the evening.
Attention: it is mandatory to wear a mask to the table and toilets Reservation in the weir and beer garden is essential, otherwise you will have to wait for hours. Few parking spaces in front of the, which are for people with disabilities. Access to the inn i.e. At the moment weir and beer garden only for people without restrictions. At table in the weir, view of the Pegnitz. Menu something for everyone, for connoisseurs of Polish food, also cold and small dishes, very tasty and served very quickly. Large selection of drinks, especially Franconian beer from Franconian Switzerland, very tasty. Service very attentive and very fast, compliments thoroughly! Well priced for city center and location 5 minutes to the Uban WΓΆrder Wiese. Toilets small and must be cleaner! Highly recommended and anytime again.
As I received and read only good things about this restaurant, I decided to organize my boyfriendΒ΄s birthday there. And unfortunately, I made a mistake. I booked a table for 12 people one month in advance. It was a hot summer day in August and for the big table we got only one small sunshade, which was barely enough for the half of the table. When we asked for another sunshade, the staff was not friendly and helpful at all. And all small tables around us had huge sunshades (did not make any sense). At least the food was good.
Just a little bit too much serving per plate. Perfect food.
Very good food. We received our food very quickly after ordering. Didn't have to wait long. Big portions for a small price. I can only recommend it.
Overall okay ππ½
The beer garden is really nice, but always over-full. The dishes are very different in quality. Unfortunately, the pierogi were always very dry. In return, the snack plate is very generous and very tasty. The Polish beer is great too, but not cheap.
Tourist trap with poor food .The ambiance is a kind of special in the old wall
One of the most beautiful and best beer gardens in Nuremberg. Add to that the super central location. The food has never disappointed us and the service is great. In summer it can get very crowded - a reservation definitely makes sense!
Very friendly service, the wait staff are really "on the ball" and try to make the guests happy. The food itself was delicious. Ambience (in the beer garden) very nice and really "rural". All in all very recommendable. Important tip: Make sure to reserve several days in advance for the beer garden. Always busy.
Great staff, good food, great terrace upstairs. Recommended.
A beautiful beer garden surrounded by a stone wall. The waitresses are quick and helpful. The food is plentiful and delicious. Recommendable!
We came without a reservation, due to Corona little space. Actually everything was full but the nice people made sure that a place for everything was possible. Not many will make this effort. The order was made easier with tips and friendly advice. The food was gigantic delicious despite low to normal prices. The champagne cream sauce with fresh champions, the schnitzel was tender, delicious and huge ... the side salad must also be mentioned. This was very extensive for the price, delicious dressing rounded off the salad. The half portion for my son would have been a full portion in many restaurants. The ambience is super nice in the beer garden or in the walkway. The restaurant was rather functional in bad weather. Shortly before leaving our son had emptied his drink, because we wanted to leave in a few minutes, we did not order a new drink on request. You can't believe it but the waitress brought my son a glass of water. My son could not drink this because he was really full, but honestly, where is there such a friendliness today ... I recommend everyone to stop here!
Romantic and friendly :)
As for POLISH restaurant leading by POLISH GUY i was expecting MUCH more than instand barszcz for plastic bag...
croweded but delicous and nice atmosphere
Small and cozy, food actually very good- a mix of Polish and Frankonian cuisine. I am Polish and "bigos" was like at home- to die for. During Brau reservations were a must.
Great traditional German food.
Had a lovely end of night meal and beer here
Really nice and traditional place. Downside is very long waitingtimes, if no reservation is made.
Great Food
Food and service was great!
Great location and beer
Delicious restaurant with great service and environment! We found out about this by accident on a trail!
Beautiful beergarden with best Schnitzle in town. Highly recommened and fair prices.
A friend of mine recommend this restaurant on me and I must say that I love the taste of the food. It's easy to have a table and the price is kinda affordable.
This is a great spot to sit and have a few beers with friends. The food is also very good and seriously generous in its portion sizes! Really enjoy coming here. Best to book ahead or time. But if you just show up, prepare to arrive early or share a table.
OK, very good, big food portion, very tasty, no expensive. Ok
Kind place avarage food we liked it overall.
The food was awesome, the beer was awesome, the service was awesome. No complaints in any of these areas. SORT OUT YOUR MOUSE INFESTATION ISSUES!
Loved the atmosphere and friendly service. The locals were friendly and approachable as well. English-friendly restaurant, gets busy in the evenings but the people are happy to share a table with you so you can sit for a meal. Beer is awesome and the food is DELICIOUS and you get a very decent serving of it! You have to try the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and the potato dumplings as a side.
One of our favorite beer gardens in town. Really nice setting atop the wall. Mostly Polish food, mostly German beer. Try the pierogi (they're best boiled) or get some of the franconian sausages with potato salad or sauerkraut.
Accessible, cool view, nice garden, good service, smiles I guess you need to book a table before going for diner (at least on Friday evening)
Very good schnitzel, very big top... very nice personell!
Good food. Friendly staff.
It's a great spot. Biggest schnitzel in town.
Nice and charming place on top of medieval walls. They a quite typical German offer and despite the fact that it is quite crowded the service is efficient and effictive!
Nice and fast service. Delicious beer and delicious Polish dishes, including various kinds of pierogi. But there are also the typical Nuremberg dishes such as roast pork with dumplings. Outside in the beer garden one sits very nice. If you want to come with several people, you should make a reservation in advance.
First of all, I give it 5 points for kindness before eating. It comes with a smiling face to come and food, and it is cold because of the English menu and the wind. The taste is delicious in other blogs, so I trust you will eat ~ ~ Menu: Schnitzel, starter platter? (Brotzeitplatte) Add. There are a lot of them. My mother and I are about to die. In the end, it's like leaving a starter. The atmosphere is really chan chan !! I took some food, but look up.
